In my thirty years of teaching, I have prepared many young students for the marching, concert, jazz, and pep bands. I have also taught many older students how to read music as well as those who wish to learn more about rudiments. That said; with working in many different books, I wanted to have a book that I could demonstrate on my show, Learning to Drum.. This book gives any drummer a good foundation in reading rhythm, basic time signatures, tempos, dynamics, and other musical terms.
